CIPLE Exam Necessary for Permanent Residency in Portugal or Citizenship

CIPLE 試験とは一体何ですか?

The CIPLE exam tests language proficiency in Portuguese at the basic A2 level and is mandatory for anyone applying for a Portuguese permanent residence permit or citizenship*. 

The CIPLE stands for Certificado Inicial de Português Língua Estrangeira (外国語としてのポルトガル語の最初の証明書)。

A2レベルってどういう意味ですか？ 

CEFR* によると、A2 レベルは初級レベルの目標言語の言語スキルを意味します。 CEFR 自体が提供する A2 レベルの詳細な説明は次のとおりです。

[The student] can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
