There are plenty of interesting options for our accommodation. It will most likely be a countryside house near Tavira.
I haven't booked it yet because I want to get a better idea of the group's composition (how many couples/singles) and your preferences before I do so. That will for instance help me understand how big a house we might need.
I look forward to soon talking to you about this and much more. Até breve, p
Portuguese Sounds is an in-depth course for anyone who wants to improve their pronunciation and overcome insecurity when speaking.
If there is any language skill often neglected by language learners, it’s pronunciation. Yet, pronunciation matters a great deal!
Actually, it is decisive to whether or not you get past the fluency threshold and to how quickly you achieve that milestone.
See, the clearer you speak, the more confident you become when talking Portuguese. Granted, better pronunciation leads to a virtuous cycle and puts you on a fast track toward fluency.
Portuguese Sounds is designed to help you learn the basic sound units and master the Portuguese sound system.
After taking the course, you’ll have built a solid phonological foundation which is essential to speak Portuguese confidence and clarity.
1. Basics
2. Vowel sounds
3. Consonant sounds
4. Word stress and accent marks
5. Connected speech
This course was a game-changer for me. I trust my pronunciation better these days and feel more confident when I speak Portuguese. Pedro has it right. Pronunciation is a physical thing and one needs to drill those sound bites to develop enough muscle memory. Only then will you start hitting the right notes with less effort. It’s well worth it. Buy it.

Before I bought this course I couldn’t really hear the sounds of this language, let alone reproduce them. I clearly see that in hindsight. Like with a radio device, you’ve got to fine-tune it into the right frequencies to get a cleaner signal. Thanks to Sounds of Portuguese, I am now more in tune with Portuguese pronunciation and feel much more comfortable speaking it.
