Geared for intermediate learners (B1/B2), Fluency Chats help you improve your communication skills toward an advanced level (C1).
8 chat sessions
Throughout a 4-week period, you get to participate in a series of 8 group discussions around different topics.
Topics range from private life (family, hobbies…) to work (career, work-life balance…) to social issues (economy, environment…).
Each chat is assigned a specific topic (announced beforehand so that you have time to prepare).
Writing assignments (incl. feedback)
Chat sessions are followed by writing assignments where you’ll be asked to summarize your views on the topic at hand.
These writing assignments will help you not only consolidate topic-related vocabulary but also improve your overall language skills.
After submitting your writing assignments, you get feedback on any grammar mistakes, out-of-context expressions, or unnatural constructions.
Group size and formation
Each edition of Fluency Chats is limited to 4 participants (plus me who will introduce the topics and facilitate the discussion).
All applications are screened (through 1:1 short interviews) to ensure that the selected participants have the required prerequisites (B1/B2 level*), which is critical to achieving good group dynamics and final results.
